Fjoertoer

This unique walking and Nordic walking event will take place in March: Fjoertoer.
"Toer", that's how the Terschellingers call their lighthouse ‘Brandaris’, a trusted beacon for centuries. The light "fire" on top of the Brandaris is called "fjoer". The "Fjoertoer" means: a trip along beacons of fire, on the way to the Brandaris.

The Fjoertoer will take participants along the beautiful nature of the island, through the polder, the woods, the dunes and of course the beach. Artists from the island provide surprising and special fire and light effects along the way, showing the participants into the right direction during this night event. Of course, the oldschool campfires cannot be missed.
